• Kurt served in the United States Marine Corps from 1967 – 1969 including service with the 1st Marine Division in the Republic of Viet Nam from 1968 – 1969
• Following his service with the Marines, Kurt attended the University of Omaha
• Kurt has two children – Derek and Quinn
• In 1970, Kurt joined the family real estate company Geschwender Real Estate where he continues to work today
• Kurt has been a member of the Presbyterian Church of the Cross since his confirmation
• In his spare time, Kurt enjoys family gatherings and activities. As an avid sportsman, Kurt likes to hunt, fish, garden and work in his yard. He has piloted aircraft acrobatically and been a certified to scuba dive since 1970. He also enjoys entertaining friends at his home in Ponca Hills
• Time permitting, Kurt enjoys riding his Harley
